校内の美しい環境デザイン 2,題材について     教材観   これからの環境づくりでは、単に効率的であるとか便利であるとかだけではなく、人間が心豊          かに過ごすことができる環境をつくっていくことが重要である。また、今後の社会では、美術が          美術室やアトリエ、美術館といった限られた空間の中だけのものではなく、一般の生活空間全体          に作用する重要なものとなってくる。この観点から、環境を造形的に美しく構成する学習は非常          に重要な役割をもっている。          生徒にとっての身近な環境の一つに、生徒の日常生活の場でもある学校そのものをあげること          ができる。毎日の通学時に必ず通る生徒昇降口の白い壁には、2年がかりで壁画が完成した。今          度は校舎内に目を移し、より豊かな生活を目指したとき、どんなデザインがふさわしいかを考え          、実際に制作するという授業を通して、生活とよりよい環境の在り方についての関心や改善への          課題意識をもたせたい。     生徒観 26人中、美術に興味があると答えた生徒は58%の15人で、環境デザインについては46          %の12人であった。選択教科のわりには関心度は低く、美術の成績でみても中程度の者が多い          。各領域の中では特に、工芸の分野に強い関心を示す生徒が多い。           環境デザインについての理解の傾向は、壁画や彫刻、建築物などに向けられていた。より良い          生活を目指してのデザインだということを理解している者が3名ほどいたが、多くの生徒がつか          めていない状況なので、しっかりとした指導が必要である。     指導観  自分たちの身近な環境を、より豊かなものに変えていこうとする心の働きとその活動の大切さ          に気づかせ、さらにより大きなものへと育てていきたい。また、校舎内の生活空間のデザインは          またとない経験であり、大きな成就感を得ることができるため、中学時代の貴重な思い出の一つ          にさせたい。そのためには、自分たちで問題点を発見し、どんなデザインが可能かを話し合い、 制作できるようにしたい。           個への配慮としては、事前調査や授業観察及び学習カ−ドなどからの実態把握を座席表にまと          め、授業における支援のために活用していきたい。 3,題材目標 ・自ら豊かな生活ができる環境へ変えていこうとする意識をもつことができる。
